Itsy Bitsy Spider

カーリー・サイモンは、父の買ったレコードが小さい頃から家にあったので知ったのですが、「綺麗だけど、少しゴリラっぽい顔だな」くらいに思っていました。
それから年月は経ち、日本でパッケージデザイン会社に勤めていたある年の年末、大掃除をしていて、先輩デザイナーで仲良し／銀座付近のランチ開拓番長だった中尾さんが、「渡辺さん、ちょっと休憩しよ。Kちん（旦那様）がカーリー・サイモンのDVD買って来たのよ。」と言って、パソコンで再生してくれたのがこのPVでした。曲調と歌詞の内容も大好きなのですが、このライブ映像にとにかく、グッと来てしまったんです。
うす紫色の夕暮れの港町で、みんながゆったりと風に吹かれて気持ち良さそうに歌を聞いている様子に。
いつか行ってみたいな、こんな港町。
